Abstrakt
The session for ELI Beamlines provides an introduction to the world of persistent identifiers, explaining their role in scholarly communication, how they function, and how they can support researchers in their professional activities. Special emphasis is placed on the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) system and the Open Research and Contributor ID (ORCID). The session also includes practical guidance on creating and configuring an ORCID profile to ensure its effective use.
