Díky společnému úsilí byl GreyGuide rozšířen a slouží i jako dokumentový portál GreyNetu. ISTI slouží jako poskytovatel služby technicky a GreyNet dodává obsahovou náplň. Příspěvek je věnován zhodnocení služby a její návratnosti po 5 letech provozu, závěr bude věnován dalším plánům.In 2013, GreyNet International and the Institute of Information Science and Technologies of the National Research Council of Italy began work on the construction of the GreyGuide repository, which would house works of good practice in the field of grey literature. This joint venture soon expanded and came to also serve as GreyNet’s Web Access Portal. Now five years on ISTI-CNR – the service provider and GreyNet International – a content provider openly discuss their return on investments in human and information resources.
