Díky své trvalosti a interoperabilitě jsou nezbytné pro efektivní výměnu a sdílení informací o osobách a objektech a jsou nezbytnou komponentou FAIR dat. Workshop se věnuje využití PIDs ve výzkumném cyklu. Podrobně seznamuje s organizací ORCID poskytující identifikátor osob ORCID iD a s registrační agenturou DataCite, která přiděluje digitální identifikátor objektů DOI. Ukázány jsou také příklady implementace PIDs ze zahraničí.Persistent identifiers (PIDs) are tools that are used to uniquely identify people, organisations, and other objects in a scientific communication system. Because of their persistence and interoperability, they are essential for the efficient exchange and sharing of information about people and objects and are an essential component of FAIR data. This workshop explores the use of PIDs in the research cycle. It provides a detailed introduction to ORCID, the organisation providing the ORCID iD person identifier, and DataCite, the registration agency that assigns the DOI digital object identifier.
