    Integrating ROR into Publishing Systems

    Participants will share experiences in integrating the Research Organization Identifier (ROR) with article submission and processing systems, both for historical records and going forward. What degree of verification of affiliation is needed? How do we integrate with OA agreements? Is it possible to mix local institution databases with the ROR database? Why is it taking so long to get ROR ids into full-text XML and Crossref metadata records? These are among the questions participants may discuss in this session.

    Wikidata and the PID Graph

    Wikidata brings together thousands of persistent identifiers, linking entities together across many dimensions. This session will focus on data about the scholarly community in Wikidata, with identifiers for researchers, scholarly works, research topics, awards, conferences, and other identified entities that can be linked together. The infrastructure, volunteer community, and some of the tools used to maintain this information will be featured.
