The Handle System: What It Takes To Make a PID System Persist

Abstract

This talk will present of brief overview of the Handle System and some of the major applications of the Handle System around the world as well as its applications to FAIR DO implementations. It will describe some of the social, policies, and organization requirements needed to operate the Handle System in a collaboration with multiple organizations around the world to insure scalability, and persistence over time.
