Three U.S. Department of Energy Scientific User Facilities are partnering on a shared application to manage the submission and review of research proposals, making use of ORCID and ROR identifiers to standardize the format and structure of proposal data and supplement local, independent business systems with PIDs that can follow a user and their research from proposal to publication.
