Making the Case for Investment in PIDs

Abstract

In this session, we will share strategies for making the case for investment in PIDs and PID infrastructure, exploring what works—and what doesn’t. We’ll begin by hearing about a consultant’s experience making the case for PIDs at the national level and follow up with breakout group discussions in which participants can share their own stories. Finally, a moderated panel of PID advocates will share insights and answer questions on building support for PID infrastructure. Attendees will come away with practical ideas for how to win over the skeptics and make the case for PIDs from within their own organizations and institutions.
