    Libraries and their role in EOSC

    The presentation highlighted the importance of libraries within the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) and the scientific ecosystem in general. Libraries/Librarians have been actively involved in supporting open science and open access for many years. In the context of EOSC, they can play various roles – repository curators, data stewards, service designers, etc. The presentation shows what libraries and their staff are already doing to support EOSC and what they can do further. It also points out how university library programs support the education of specialists in data management, service design, or information literacy.
