Integrating ROR into Publishing Systems

Abstract

Participants will share experiences in integrating the Research Organization Identifier (ROR) with article submission and processing systems, both for historical records and going forward. What degree of verification of affiliation is needed? How do we integrate with OA agreements? Is it possible to mix local institution databases with the ROR database? Why is it taking so long to get ROR ids into full-text XML and Crossref metadata records? These are among the questions participants may discuss in this session.
