Uniform Resource Name (URN) is a standard-based persistent identifier (PID) that NLF has been using since the late 1990s, and now is one of thirteen national libraries across Europe that uses these PIDs.Publikace Otevřený přístup Addressing Equity and Access to PID Infrastructure(National Library of Technology, 2024) Mejias, GabrielaThis session will discuss the core objectives, strategies, and impact of this initiative, shedding light on its significance to allow underrepresented communities to benefit from PID infrastructure. We will discuss progress to date and challenges across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East and will have speakers dial in from the regions to share their work. In this interactive session, we aim to inspire engagement and collaboration among PID stakeholders towards the shared goal of advancing equity and access in the research landscape.Publikace Otevřený přístup Advancing FAIR Data Practices through Integrating Scientific Measuring Instruments PIDs for CRIS(National Library of Technology, 2024) Wermelinger, Julia; Grasso Toro, FedericoIn research data management, the integration of Persistent Identifiers (PIDs) plays a pivotal role in achieving Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR) data. This presentation explores the synergy of three components - OpenIRIS, Code Versioning by Git, and Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) for research results. By establish a comprehensive framework for enhancing Current Research Information Systems (CRIS) by FAIR data practices. The non-profit platform Openiris.io as a beacon for the research community: facilitating the discovery, sharing, and management of resources. Through its central portal and customed institutional portals, OpenIRIS incorporates features developed with direct researchers involvement, making it a repository of best practices for scientific resource management, in particular measuring instruments.Publikace Omezený přístup Agenda a kontext Centra repozitářů a PID(Národní technická knihovna, 2023) Černohlávková, PetraPrezentace z interního školení vedoucí Centra repozitářů a PID pro spolupracující zaměstnance NTK, konaného 24. ledna 2023.Publikace Otevřený přístup And the Winner is… PIDs for Research Awards and Prizes in the KDSF Standard for Research Information(National Library of Technology, 2024) Both, Gode; Guedler, JuergenThe registry of research awards and prizes is part of a larger effort of the Commission of Research Information in Germany (KFiD) to facilitate institutional research information management. The KFiD is an expert body which brings together the most relevant actors of the German science system. One of KFiD’s instruments is the KDSF Standard for Research Information. It aims at harmonizing the collection and reporting of research information in Germany. It does so by proposing a set of definitions and rules for diverse domains, such as, projects, employment, publications, and in future, research prizes and awards. The KDSF recommends the use of PIDs for the collection and reporting of research information.Publikace Otevřený přístup Australian National Graph: Levering PIDs to Animate the National Level Network of Research Collaborations(National Library of Technology, 2024) Almeida, Melroy; Aryani, AmirIn this presentation, we explore the concept of the National Persistent Identifier (PID) graph. Connections between ORCID, ROR, DOI, RAID, and other PIDs provide a valuable source of information about the digital footprint of research and the collaboration network of researchers. We provide insights into these connections across the Australian research ecosystem such as the role of ORCID in connecting researchers to nationally funded grants by Australian Research Council (ARC), the coverage of ROR in Australia, and the scope of FunderID in connecting research outputs to Australian research institutions.Publikace Otevřený přístup Australian National PID Strategy: Driving Research and Innovation(National Library of Technology, 2024) Simons, NatashaPresentation at the PIDfest Conference 2024.Publikace Otevřený přístup Barcelona Declaration on Open Research Information: Coordinating Action to Promote a System-wide Transition to Open Research Information(National Library of Technology, 2024) Kramer, Bianca; Hauschke, ChristianAfter introducing the Barcelona Declaration on Open Research Information earlier during PIDfest, this unconference session invites interested participants to discuss potential ways research organizations and funders could coordinate action towards open research information. We will delve into the motivations driving the project, including the imperative for filling the gap between regions, the challenges faced by institutions in the Global South, and the limitations of centralized PID models. Furthermore, we will emphasize dARK's role as a complementary solution, designed to augment existing DOI infrastructure rather than compete with it.Publikace Otevřený přístup Building Vibrant Research Culture Through PIDs in the Field of HRM: Special Reference to Sri Lanka(National Library of Technology, 2024) Perera, KamaniBroad utilization of PID e-Infrastructures has the potential to expedite the embrace of Open Science by fostering trust through effortless discovery of scientific artifacts, transparent attribution to contributors, traceable origins, clear citation in scholarly discussions, support for reproducibility, and enhancement of metadata quality via interconnected metadata sources. In this context, it is planned to implement PIDs in the field of HRM in Sri Lanka being a leading HRM Institute in order to get global visibility HRM research. Utilizing identifiers can strengthen trust in an institution by offering provenance details, thereby enhancing the validity of a resource over time.Publikace Otevřený přístup Cestovní zpráva - International Data Week 2023: A Festival of Data(Národní technická knihovna, 2023) Černohlávková, Petra; Heringová, Hana; Vyčítalová, HanaÚčelem cesty byla účast na konferenci International Data Week 2023.
